Hello,
I like to upgrade vpopmail from 4.9.5 to 4.9.6. Do I just have to
install over the old version or do I have to remove the old vpopmail
Files? If I got to remove, can I just copy my users in the new one?

I still got the problem not getting local users authenticated.
I create the local users like this:
vadduser user domain.com pass
the user is created in ../vpopmail/users/user
qmails assign-file seems ok but the users vpasswd only points to
/users/user is that suppose to be that way?
Can I send mail from anywhere in the Internet to that user in form
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or how do they work anyway? The manuals ar just
talking about "local users" but in some way I should be able to send
mail via a Mailclient to them. When I send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
it gets delivered over my .qmail-default to my virtual-user Maildir
and not to the users.
I would rather like my virtualusers authenticate via this
--enable-ip-alias option but that doesnt work either.
Is there any trick to get that work? I cant really understand how
it works anyway. Maybe somebody can explain me that in simple words.
The explanation in the Administration Guide is probably not easy
enough for me.
Ok thats it. Sorry for this stupid questions but I really need a bit of
light in the darkness.
Thank you very much and regards

Hans-Juergen
