on a freebsd 4.2-stable system after installing vpopmail i was unable to
sucessfully change the location of ~vpopmail dir.
My first attempt was to
vipw --> change home dir for vpopmail
then
/usr/ports/mail/vpopmail/work/vpopmail-4.9.4/configure
make
make install-strip
This seemed to work, moving the files i needed to /home/vpopmail/ however
when i tried to add a virtual domain using /home/vpopmail/bin/vadddomain
test.com
i get an error similar to
could not chdir /home/vpopmail/domains/domain of
any ideas on where to go from here would be helpful.
A complete new install with the correct home dir for the vpopmail user
works, but i'd like to know why the change feature didn't work.
