Hi, I'm using the latest version of qmailmrtg on an OpenBSD 2.8.
When I installed Qmail here I recall following the instructions at Life with
Qmail. However, when I tried to use it I found that the logs that were at
/var/log/qmail/qmail-send, /var/log/qmail/qmail-smtpd,
/var/log/qmail/qmail-pop3d were not being generated as they should, so the
qmailmrtg script couldn't get the correct information.
After some hours of trying to make it work with the supervise program, I
decided to follow the FAQ that comes with qmailmrtg and get qmail up from
rc.local file. I have everything working wonderfully, and I have only a
minor doubt, at the Qmail - Bytes Transferred I get a peak of 642kB, but I
can tell you that I sent and received mails larger than 3MB... How should I
read that graph? Any changes at the qmail.mrtg.cfg (As I used the same
logdirs than the FAQ, then I used qmail.mrtg.cfg, as it came from the
distrib)?
Thanks in advance, and I suggest trying qmailmrtg, is really worth it.
