First... I know that is probably a Qmail issue directly, but I'm desperate for any advice. For the last month now, I have been trying to get Mailman to co-operate with qmail. No one has been able to even come close to addressing the issue. Instead I leave with more questions in my head as to how to get this working. I've been told about SIGPIPE, but I don't think that is the issue, as the patch for SIGPIPE did not relieve the problem. The problem? : I set up a .qmail alias file to deliver to pre-line |/var/qmail/bin/preline /usr/local/mailman/mail/wrapper post timy mailman themselves say this is fine, and should work.. But I keep getting the error: delivery 12: deferral: preline:_fatal:_child_crashed/ status: local 0/10 remote 0/20 qmail then tried to re-deliver the message thinking the error wasn't a big deal. (of course.. delivery would be nice, but I can't figure out why preline is saying child crashed when if I pipe a cat'd output to the same /usr/local/mailman/mail/wrapper... it works fine) Help! -Lexx. uname -a SunOS hostname 5.8 Generic_108529-08 i86pc i386 i86pc
