Hello all,

I am working on writing a version of the vacation program that will work for
vchkpw servers (ie one that doesn't rely on system accounts in order to do
it's work). First I need to confirm a few things.

When a message comes into the server destined for [EMAIL PROTECTED], that
message goes into qmail's local delivery mechanism, which sees that it is
going to the account controlling the virt_domain.com domain. It then uses
the instructions listed for that user, which in the case of vchkpw machines,
hands the message over to vdelivermail. My first question is: will
vdelivermail, and any commands called through its delivery instructions
recieve the qmail-local enviornment variables? Second question: Will
vdelivermail pay any attention to a .qmail file in the virtual user's
directory?

If someone has already written this program, or knows how to get Peter
Samuel's vacation to work for vpopmail situations, please let me know.

Thanks all.

Matthew Patterson
