I have a few
questions about vpopadmin functions in php.
First off, I setup a second apache server with php (one that runs under the uid of vpopmail and gid of vchkpw) so I can setup an email admin site. In order to do a vpopmail_add_domain, do I need to run the web server as root? If so, is that safe? The server is very exclusive, the only site that is being ran off of it is not a public site and it is password protected. I know that not many people besides me will ever hit the site.
I have checked several places and have not found
any reference for the parameter listings for the functions.
The
vpopmail_add_user parameters seem to be like this: username, domain,
password...
The one I'm having
problems with is vpopmail_add_domain. I looked in php_vpopmail.c and the
parameters are domain, dir, uid, gid. This is really confusing, because
the command line program, vadddomain, don't require those last 3 parameters...
The first parameter is obviously the domain name. So what do the last 3
parameters mean?
