need help setting up vpop3d

Hi.
I've installed Qmail and vpopmail, as well as sqwebmail (the graphical
web mail client).  Now I need to get the pop3 daemon working so I get
also get my mail with a client like messenger or outlook.  I'm not sure
what else needs to be done.  I've added the proper entry into my
/etc/inetd.conf file, and i have users and virtual domains set up
already .... any ideas where to start??
