I'm assuming you're talking about the UNIX last command that shows the last
users logged in?  This only works with *real* system users first of all, not
virtual users.  I'm thinking your better option here, if you're using
vpopmail 5, and mysql is to turn on vlog'ing which logs every vpopmail
authentication (or denial for that matter) to a table in mysql called vlog.
