i don't know how to check what i set as the checkpassword program, couldnt find any info on that. i mean, i set this up fine on another machine before. anyways, the run script is this, which is run from /etc/rc.d/rc.local:
env - PATH="/var/qmail/bin:/usr/local/bin" \ tcpserver -H -R 0 pop-3 \ /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup headlevel.com \ /home-dir-of-vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir & thanks, brendan
