I believe the proper values are something like: --enable-incdir=/usr/include/mysql --enable-libdir=/usr/lib/mysql
At least, those are where things are and what works on a RH9 + mysql.com rpms system

I get this error:
configure: error: unable to find your inc dir, specify --enable-incdir
Now I'd love to be able to do this, but Im not sure what one is...
