Good point there.  That's probably the fastest solution right now, but there should be a "cleaner" way that I'm most likely missing.

Not sure if this will work, but you can try:
Create a pop account for the user you're looking to bounce mail for, then in that users directory, create a .qmail file with:
| /path/to/vdelivermail '' bounce-no-mailbox
May not be the best way, but it may work..
