Why do you use "/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw $LOCAL /bin/true 2>&1" ?

Is "$LOCAL" required by vchkpw ?

I have removed the $LOCAL string, killed the tcpserver process, verified that it was restarted without the $LOCAL argument, and nothing happened. (nothing good, anyway)
I still see the message: vpopmail[xxxx]: vchkpw-smtp: vpopmail user not found [EMAIL PROTECTED]:ip
