Hello, I installed qmail+vpopmail+courier imap. Now I’m able to check imap & pop3 mail for
virtual users and imap mail for real (/etc/passwd) users but not pop3 for real
users. I change checkpassword in my /var/qmail/supervise/qmail-pop3d/run
script into: exec /usr/local/bin/softlimit -m 2000000 \ /usr/local/bin/tcpserver -v -R -H -l 0 0 110
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup \ dominioprova.it /home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d \ Maildir 2>&1 But when I try to check pop3 mail for real user
named “prova1” I can not manage to download it. This is the message from mail.info log: Sep 7 11:30:52 pcprova vpopmail[2472]:
vchkpw-pop3: vpopmail user not found prova1@:10.6.100.130 It seems like it was not able to check user against
/etc/passwd… But why? vchckpw should do automatically… Could it be a uid gid problem? I installed vpopmail
as ud/gid 89… and also tried to run the following: env - PATH="/var/qmail/bin:/usr/local/bin"
tcpserver -g 0 -u 0 -H -R 0 pop-3 /v ar/qmail/bin/qmail-popup dominioprova.it
/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /var/qmail/bin/qm ail-pop3d Maildir & (If I change back to checkpassword pop3 for real
