Interim VCL 2.2.1 release?

I'd like to propose cutting an interim VCL 2.2.1 release within the next 
month.  There have been a fair number of bug fixes committed since VCL 
2.2 was released and there is quite a bit of work to do on the 2.3 
roadmap features.

Thoughts?
