There were no error or warning messages in the log output you provide. Was that the entire log output for the reservation? Does 'grep
24724 /var/log/vcld.log' provide more output than included in the message?

Your management node is communicating with the VMware host 'vmhost-1'. The VMs on that host should be using the bridged interface. Can you ping the guest OS from the VMware host OS?

Also, make sure any problems you're having aren't the result of the firewall on the guest OS.
