I haven't looked at the entire infrastructure; certainly bzr-builddeb which I understand is much of the core is a bzr plugin, so its written in python and using bzrlib's object model (rather than e.g. shell commands) to drive the operation. -Rob -- GPG key available at: <http://www.robertcollins.net/keys.txt>.
