Hi, This is my setup
vdr 1.7.15 epgsearch 0.9.25.beta16 locale en_US.UTF-8 Recording done by setting the timer myself result in valid folder names. Means the german umlauts are visible in the filesystem. However when recordings are done by an epgsearch timer the umlauts are broken. This is what ls shows on my box drwxr-xr-x 3 vdr vdr 4096 6. Jun 20:12 Das_Vermächtnis_der_Tempelritter drwxr-xr-x 3 vdr vdr 4096 29. Mai 22:07 Star_Trek_-_Das_n?chste_Jahrhundert Anything I can do to fix this myself or is this a bug somewhere? Ralf
