No, it wasn't. I'm sorry - I intended to look at it and really
understand the implications, and didn't get to last night - burnout from
the day or something.
You probably know that there aren't any implications already :)
My concerns are that it's a change to our introspection rules/pattern,
and I think that was a concern voiced by others. To be honest, I have
been against it, for reasons I can't explain. When doing the VM changes
last week, I had some epiphany that covinced me it's probably ok, I
guess. I am not convinced that simply because it's in WM and aides in
seamless conversion that we should do it. It's a compelling argument,
but not convincing. (There are quite a few things that we could do to
make WM->Vel seamless, but won't...)
Since there haven't been any -1 votes that I can recall, and if all can
wait until this evening, I would like to take the time then to work it
over to my satisfaction (since I seem to be the only one who has ever
said anything either way, and that was against it), and then I'll put it
in, or provide a clear argument and explination against it.
