In doing so, I once again had to check-in a Velocity() to whiteboard, so if you are using it, get a fresh copy. Which brings up the question : anyone against adding this to org.apache.velocity.util directory? We should decide, and either put it in, or I can find another place for it to live as unofficial and simply supported by me. I think it is useful for general application programmers, and something that isn't an application level issue, as it touches the core somewhat deeply.
