I noticed that xdocs/index.xml has these lines:

(notice the '.' at the end). However the generated
index.html has (with some blanks stripped):
<blockquote>
<a href="http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/tdk/">Here</a>
</blockquote>
The final '.' is gone...
