Yes, it was a joke... I guess I could have thrown a smiley in to make that more apparent... In fact at my shop I am the (in the words of Jon) "strict asshole" although I don't quite weild enough authority to actually force things to happen my way. (I am actually in a bit of a tiff with another of the developers here right now because I rewrote a whole bunch of his classes one day while he was sick... :)
At any rate I am fairly apathetic about the whole float issue although it's always fairly amusing when it makes its monthy appearance on the mailing list. But I do think that after 1.2 is release that it could be a good idea to revisit the "null token" idea again.
