are you referring to the CVS of Velocity
(http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs/jakarta-velocity/)
or the CVS of the Velocity-Tools subproject
(http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs/jakarta-velocity-tools/) ?

the bug lies with the version of Velocity that you are using, not within
the
code of the tools subproject. it would be helpful to know what version
of
_Velocity_ you are using. Geir was asking if you were using the
Velocity
1.3 release or a different version. There has been no release yet of
the
tools subproject.
