Hi all, Trying not to beat a dead horse here but this issue needs to be resolved since it is a show stopper for replacing JSPs in my opinion. After all the suggestions and discussion yesterday, here is my solution and please let me know if it is a good idea or not.
1) I've created a ViewTool (called htmlFilter) which implements the ViewTool interface. 2) I've also register the HTMLFilter class with an event cartridge within the init() method. 3) Created a method in the class 'referenceInsert()' to handle the filtering (ignoring the LinkTool class). In this way, I can enable/disable html filtering by changing the toolbox.xml.
