Sorry again if this question is too obvious, but where's the most recent version of Peter's number patch? I did a quick search through Bugzilla and the mail archives and didn't see it. (But I know it's out there). A bugzilla ID number would be great.

How to patch? Many IDEs support patching. I personally use cygwin (http://www.cygwin.com) and then the ordinary console command: patch. To apply the src.patch from the mail above you would enter the velocity/src/java directory and type:
patch -p2 -i [path to]src.patch
