I dunno, maybe this isn't a great example because VS causes pain (imho) for newbies who should be using VVS in Tools. But I'd hate to see it linger on for 1.5, 1.6, 1.7... and on and on until 2.0. Depends on how often the major number increments. But it does seem like Velocity is due soon for a 2.0 release.
