Hmm. I wasn't aware of the leak issue, I'll make a note of that. As for other work arounds, I have one that will work just fine for my situation. But I'm still curious about the specialized tiles tool for the purpose of streaming output to the browser, instead of buffering the whole page in a string before sending it as the tiles tool does. But that's another question, and probably for the tiles developers.
