- Strong Java/J2EE coding and development experience. Experience must include application development on Internet technologies like HTTP, HTML, SOAP, _javascript_, etc.
- Proficient in XML and SQL
- In-depth knowledge of back-end databases, either Oracle or DB2 is mandatory. Both would be preferred.
- Demonstrated large scale project implementation expertise
- Excellent working knowledge on any one of the following application servers [latest versions] is mandatory: Weblogic, WebSphere, NetWeaver, JBoss
- Understands development methodology and development life-cycle
- Should have use tools like Eclipse IDE, Perl, Ant, etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in person, by telephone, and with large teams
- Should have acted as a Technical Lead / Module Lead experience for prior projects spanning over 2 years with not less than 1-yr in an onsite-offshore co-ordination model.
- Should have lead a team of not less than 4 members in prior 2 projects
- Should have been in a customer-facing role in prior 2 projects
- Should be willing for a 50% travel commitment as part of project implementations to anywhere in US. Global travel flexibility would certainly be preferred but not mandatory
