Job Title : DB2 ZOS Consultant
Location : Woodbury, MN
Duration : 12 months Contract
Rate : Open
Summary: Responsible for DB2 Z/OS database creation, implementation,
testing, production support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for software
applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Evaluates, installs and maintains DB2 Connect software and related
software products.
• Develops communications that persuade and influence target audience (e.g.,
discussion documents, proposals).
• Sets up and maintains data structures and database environments to support
production, performance and development activities.
• Facilitates reusability and participates in the definition of operational
standards for managing information assets.
• Researches current and emerging technology trends pertinent to functional
area
• Provides DB2 support and utilizes troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
• Monitors, measures, and optimizes individual and combined utilization of
hardware and software components.
• Contributes to disaster recovery plan.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in a
related field.
Experience: 5+ years experience with 4 or more years experience in a DB2
Z/OS database analyst position.
