Let me know have any suitable perfect match resumes appreciate to send resumes with rate and contact info ASAP. *Description* Job Title: System Administrator Location: Owings Mills, MD Duration: 1 yr. contract (strong possibility of extensions) Description: Looking for a strong system administrator to provide administration of several software packages which provide Change Management/Version Control, Job Scheduling and Report Distribution functions, etc., such as ENDEVOR, CA-7, and INFOPAC. For administration of CA7, Tests and implements new releases; adds and updates jobs, requirements, and schedules to the database; assists application developers with any questions/issues; assists operators with trouble shooting problems; and maintains the database. For administration of Autosys / Autoconnect, tests and implements new releases; adds and updates jil files (Job Information Language) to the database and check adherence to standards; assists application developers with standards, coding, scheduling, and any other questions; and assists operators with trouble shooting problems. For administration of InfoPac, tests and implements new releases, reviews record entries for reports for adherence to standard, maintains the database, and trouble shoots any problems that occur. Assists in the administration of Endevor. Performs Change Control promotions and deployments as needed (Mainframe, Client Server, Visual Age, AS400...). Will be trained to be 3rd level backup for Investments Change Control. Performs special projects as assigned, such as automating the departmental workflow (via COBOL, batch jobs, CLIST, panels, etc.). For change control, checks various conditions for database integrity, produces weekly change control report and updates database. Handles special projects involving CA-7, InfoPac or Endevor and utilizes IBM Utilities, File-Aid, Cobol programming to support in-house systems and special projects. Processes emails sent to the OPSCC mailbox from Business Users & GBS&T staff, which include job scheduling changes for both the mainframe and the client server environment, InfoPac report access requests and Special Job Requests; etc. At times, will have to stay up to an hour later to handle Change Control Promotion issues. Will need to have access to sensitive Investment Systems assets (I.E. Access Person requirements for contractors ?). Other duties as assigned.
