*Responsibilities:*
*Senior Data Modeler in a data warehouse environment for one of St. Louis
clients. This is a long term contract opportunity. *Skills:
* Erwin, DB2, Data Warehouse, EDW, Business Intelligence, BI, MDM, Data
Quality, Healthcare Provider Industry Primary responsibilities will
include developing conceptual, logical and physical data models in support
of a data warehouse system; deriving data models through requirements
gathering with developers and end users; and working with business users to
map process models to data models. *
*Requirements: ** 5+ years of data modeling experience supporting
data warehouse development efforts.*
- *Must have recent experience on a mid-large, complex, *full lifecycle
data warehouse project*.*
- *Must be experienced in *Erwin
- *Solid understanding of *relational and dimensional* databases.*
- *Understanding of *data quality design* techniques, and *master data
management* concepts*
- *Experience developing Data Warehousing data models.*
- *Experience with DB2 database.*
- *Experience in data modeling and data architecture principles and
patterns*
- *Ability to communicate across diverse audience of business analysts,
architects, business users and technical project staff*
- *Strong organization and interpersonal skills*
- *Demonstrated interaction skills across a wide spectrum of technical
contacts and teams*
- *Passion for the integrity of database design and a willingness to
compromise appropriately to balance design and delivery*
- *Good writing skills for technical and user documents.*
*DESIRED SKILLS: *
- *Familiarity with Ab Initio ETL and Cognos business intelligence tools
is a plus.*
- *Health Insurance Industry domain knowledge also a plus.*
- *Experience with process improvement methodologies including data
quality improvement​*
