Role: Black Box Testing consultant Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 6+ months Job Description: · Writes test specifications, test cases and automation scripts. · Runs automated test tools, compile and report results. · Performs detailed analysis of test results and update test cases/scripts accordingly · Narrow down problems to component module based on detailed analysis of test runs · Setup complex hardware configurations, network technologies, OS and applications. · Provides some bug prevention and/or proactive testing through product specification reviews. · Performs repeatable testing procedures and processes, with excellent opportunity to demonstrate ad-hoc testing skills. · Evaluates and reports test result. · The candidate should be well versed with the below o Blackbox Testing o Windows Platform Testing o Networking concepts · Candidates should have good knowledge on blackbox testing and windows platform testing. · Knowledge on Microsoft internal tools (Windows Test Technologies-WTT tool, Product Studio) and networking feature area is desirable.
