* Title: Senior QA Engineer - * * Location: Alpharetta, GA and 2 in Chelsea, NY* * Start date: ASAP* * Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description* *As I mentioned, there will be 4-6 positions in Alpharetta, GA and 2 in Chelsea, NY.* *The most important skills we are looking for are strong Selenium experience and experience with Cucumber and Gherkin. * *Senior QA Engineer - * *execute existing automation scripts AND WRITE automation scripts* * Senior QA tester needed to test plan, manually execute test cases, run automated Selenium test scripts and create Selenium test scripts for complex web software development project using Agile Scrum methodology. Excellent communication skills are a must. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* * * Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex software projects. * Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium test automation tool * Execute manual and automated tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications / Requirements:* * * BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience). * 7+ years of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing for complex applications that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements. * In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies.
