Also, minimum of CCNP.* *Duties to include but not limited to:* * - Operationally responsible for Multi-Vendor Hardware and Software support. - Knowledge of Network Standards and FCAPS: Fault Management, Accounting, Performance, and Security. - Project and Vendor Management Skills - Ability to work with other internal groups - Ability to complete a thorough operational review and provide detailed technical feedback of MOPs to be performed on the Data Network - Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation of Network information - Install, configure, maintain and Support a variety of Network Hardware and Operating Systems - Resolve highest level escalation of trouble tickets on Data Network Platform - Ability to train other team members on Network devices or Operating Systems - Works in conjunction with the DNOC team on applying Network OS updates, configuration changes, and network tuning or support issues - Knowledge and experience of new feature and equipment testing - Other duties as assigned - Knowledge of scripting languages a plus - Responsible for evaluating new and existing Network Hardware and OS procedures and processes on Data Network devices. - Work directly with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve network issues. - Identify and research network issues that have a negative impact on our customers and the performance of the overall Data Network. - Responsible for the enforcement of Network Quality Standards. - Responsible for Integration of merged and acquired companies into the Data Network. To include standardization of elements for access, authentication, and configuration. **Preferred Skills:* *Cisco or Juniper certified (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or JNCIE)* *Strong Network Design skills * *Experience working for a Telecommunications Service Provider (ex.
