iOS & Android with extensive PhoneGap/Cordova is highly required!!
Pure Java/Android with extensive PhoneGap/Cordova/Sencha Touch is highly
required – Should be a heavy hitter!!
*Job Purpose:* Creates user information solutions by developing,
implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet applications on Android and
iOS devices.
*Technologies*:
- IOS SDK (Objective-c)
- Android SDK (Java)
- PhoneGap MUST!!!
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQUERY
- WebKit
- PostgresQL, MySQL
- *Python, a plus (not required)*
- *PHP, a plus (not required)*
- *Apache, a plus (not required)*
- *WSGI, a plus (not required)*
- *Apache Cordova, a huge plus (not required)*
*Mobile Web Applications Developer Job Duties:*
· Defines objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning
system features and functionality.
· Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet
applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout
development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets;
completing programming using languages and software products; designing and
conducting tests.
· Integrates applications by designing database architecture and
server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network
systems, search engines, and information servers.
· Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
· Completes applications development by coordinating requirements,
schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting
development and production problems across multiple environments and
operating platforms.
· Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
*Skills/Qualifications:* Verbal Communication, Web Programming Skills,
Software Requirements, Software Architecture, Software Development
Fundamentals, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Software Debugging, Written
Communication, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQUERY, Objective-c, JAVA,
IOS/ANDROID SDK development.
*Required Skills:*
-Candidate will have experienced skills Javascript, JQUERY, CSS3 and HTML5
required. We need someone with design experience, so wire-framing
examples, etc.
Have you used JQUERY to gather data in JSON or XML format to display on a
web page?
are you familiar with CSS3 animations? (They should answer with comments on
CSS transitions or canvas [we don't use canvas, but we do use heavy CSS
transitions])
Are you familiar with CSS frameworks? (Should answer with bootstrap, 960 or
blueprint)
