Please mention the location Of your consultants. *Job Title : ServiceNow Developer* Location: Virginia Beach, VA Duration : 6+ Months Contract Start : ASAP Must Haves: 3-4 years ServiceNow experience required. 2-3 years experience with web technologies such as Javascript, XML, HTML, CSS etc. Experience with ITIL & Scrum methodologies Experience implementing SaaS solutions. Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, SMTP, SSO and enterprise IT architecture Working knowledge of relational database concepts and structure Working knowledge of Object-oriented programming, class models and inheritance Experience with security risks and impact from a development perspective Integration experience SOAP & REST a plus Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for Customer Facing Interactions Responsibilities: Customization, Applications Configuration, Scripting, Exception Processing, Validation, Usability, Interfaces, etc. Design and implement new functionality using Business Rules, UI Policies, Access Lists, etc. Service Catalog and Request Workflow Design and Configuration Modules & Application implementation Use of Mid server, web-services, email and other relevant technology Work with Business Systems Analyst to gather and review requirements Provide innovative solutions to business requirements In the first year, we will be deploying a 600 seat ServiceNow implementation and merging the existing 22 ticketing tools functionality. I have a service deployment contract established with ServiceNow, however I want to have this position work closely with them to understand the all the “Whys” and be able to instantly support the deployment once it is turned over to Sentara. Sentara will be providing the ServiceNow Developer Training and cover the cost for Certification once established. Our team has been an early adopter of technology and software platforms. We are on the most current releases, or couple of minor patches behind. We have a highly integrated solution that will require out of the box thinking and careful planning and execution.
