We have an urgent opening *Business Systems Analyst *and I have sent you a job description ,Please go through it and let me know if you are comfortable with it and also send me your updated resume ASAP as applicable *(Updated Resume with your Employer Details ) .* * Please mention the location Of your consultants.* *Job Title : Business Systems Analyst* *Location: San Francisco | CA |* *Duration : 6+ Months Contract * *Start : ASAP* *Interview: Phone Screen & Face to Face required * *Job Description : * We need a blended Systems and Business Analyst with strong SQL, UNIX/LINUX, and Scripting experience (preferably Shell Scripts & Python) *Job Description* Technical Business Systems Analyst/Systems Analyst(Email/CRM) Must Have: *1. 3-5 years as a Business Systems Analyst w/technical focus on Data-centric responsibilities * *a. 2 - 3 years software development experience (Any Programming Languages / Shell Scripting, ETL) * b. Functional/technical system integration and CRM Data Analysis across an internal Hadoop ecosystem, Data Mart, and a 3rd party Email Service Provider (ESP) c. Must have strong Shell scripting skills with experience/ability to read and interpret Shell logs and scripts d. Must have basic to intermediate Python scripting skills from scratch 2. Big Data experience a. Thorough knowledge of Data models, Data Modeling (Relational and Dimensional), Data Profiling and working with large data warehouse environment Must understand Hadoop environment structure and how to validate data in a Hadoop ecosystem 3. Advanced SQL working on Oracle RDBMS (preferred 10g/11g) a. Modifying data feeds, creating files, working with extracts, debugging PL/sql code, conducting impact analysis b. Ability to work on large data volumes, writing effective SQL queries to investigate and resolve data issues. 4. Strong understanding of ETL/Data Warehouse environments a. Must have experience working with Data Marts 5. Ability to process and analyze complex data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions Pluses: 2. Technical background, especially as CRM Data Analyst, PL/SQL developer, ETL Developer, Database Developer 3. Experience working directly on database and/or email marketing systems 4. Experience working with Aqua Data Studio, TOAD, or SQL Developer 5. Able to read programming source code 6. Experience with any CRM tool (ie. Epiphany, Unica, etc) Day to Day Responsibilities: • Primary role in troubleshooting and priority resolution of daily issues (usually new, undocumented issues) related to breaks/issues in current Data feeds (ie. identifying root cause of issues related to Data Mart, Hadoop ecosystem, or ESP) • Responsible for the day-to-day operational activities and help in the execution process of enhancements to the email marketing programs by performing the roles of system analyst, system administrator, data auditor, issue investigator and business implementation support • Support the email marketing functions on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth functioning of email deployment activities. • Support the marketing analytic team by facilitating data coverage for ad-hoc requests and help in resolving in any data related issues. • Responsibilities balanced between - (50%) Systems Analysis - (20-25%) Development (ie.
