*Short Description:* We are looking for a knowledgeable, skilled engineer
to join our small team of talented engineers and designers in designing,
developing, and installing a proprietary software solution. You will work
closely with your team to effectively reach deadlines and expedite
development as part of a larger system involving multiple desktop and web
applications, giving users access to streaming video through a secured
connection from any device. These applications will allow for video review
and metadata assignment at specific times ('tagging'), export, redaction of
sensitive data, and more on body cameras in the field (through a mobile
application) as well as file storage locations (local server, cloud).

Responsibilities:
· Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis,
problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed
solutions.
· Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation,
flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
· Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing
system specifications, standards, and programming.
· Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information
from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products.
· Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
· Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
development and service issues.
· Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing
related work as needed.
Requirements:
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a
technical field (such as CIS or IT)
· 4 years software development experience OR an equivalent
combination of education and relevant experience.
· Flexible, available schedule
· Experience with mobile applications (Android) is a plus
· Must demonstrate proficiency and possess experience necessary to
develop
moderately complex software in C, C++, C#, Java, and similar upper-level
languages
· Demonstrate mastery of relevant software engineering tools
