Retail would be nice but not required. The *Specialty Pharmacy Business Analyst* is very specific and the candidate has to have *worked in a pharmaceutical background*, such as CVS. This person will be in Specialty Pharmacy. *1.* *Title: Retail Business Analyst (POS)* *Location: Grand Rapids, MI* *Duration: 12+ months (long-term open ended)* * Job Description* This position will manage multiple projects acting as the Business Relationship liaison between IT (for Retail POS and Labor area) and internal/external development resources (specifically Digital Transformation area). Will work with Customers to define project specifications, system integration points and requirements. Work with Vendors to identify solutions that meet customer needs. SOW development, Budget mgt., and day to day customer meetings and project related activities will be a focus for these spots. *Responsibilities* · Providing technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team or support, in the analysis, design, and development of business applications · Providing technical consulting support on projects · Developing business relationships and integrating activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts · Gather functional specs for systems. · Designing and developing applications according to established IT standards, including the Meijer Methodology · Leading, collecting and analyzing business requirements for large, multifunctional projects · Performing feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate design · Preparing detailed design, specs and test plans · Identifying conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions *Technical Skills* · Presentations / Meeting Facilitation (highly skilled) · Development background · MS Office · Relational database exposure *General Skills* *Communication* Must be able to clearly document meeting outcomes, requirements, functional expectations and descriptions of future state needs *Leadership* Ability to manage and lead meetings, expectations, needs and resource utilization while meeting overall objective of assigned efforts *Verbal communication* Must be able to interact with all levels of IT customers (developers, analysts and managers) effectively in meetings in order to gather requirements, share pertinent information and obtain agreement and consensus *2.* *Title: Specialty Pharmacy Business Analyst* *Location: Grand Rapids, MI* *Duration: 12+ months (long-term open ended)* *Job Description* This position will be located within our Pharmacy BR Team and will be responsible for working with IT customers to gather requirements related to Specialty Pharmacy and our expansion of that capacity. They will work with our vendors and support teams. Qualified candidates will have stellar verbal and written communication with a business based aggressive personality that is driven to succeed and deliver highest quality product. Must be confident enough to challenge "status quo" with fact based suggestion to improve. Will have sense of ownership and responsibility for outputs. A good quality for this person to have is a healthy "distrust" of technology and requires proof, wants to find root cause and understand deeper details. Has a "trust but verify" attitude.
