This is a 12+ month contractual opportunity in Chicago, IL. *Job Description* The C# .NET Application Developer - Consultant needs strong Application Development (Expertise with C# .NET) skills as well as a solid understanding of data analysis, extraction, transformation, and loading skills - preferably with exposure to risk data; and will be focused on integrating an in-house proprietary risk data warehouse/management reporting system with external vendor platforms. *Technical Skills* - 8+ years of experience working as an Application Developer with a focus on Database Applications - Broad knowledge of IT, including experience in SDLC and Waterfall/Agile project methodologies - 8+ years of data analysis, SQL, and ETL experience (nice to have) - 5+ years of BI and reporting experience (nice to have) - 5+ years of experience with C# and .Net framework (must have) - Deep understanding of relational data modeling (nice to have) - Excellent understanding of risk data, analytics, and BI/reporting domains- preferably with a Risk data warehouse - Strong understanding of multiple asset classes (including Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives), portfolio reference data, security reference, holdings, transactions, benchmarks, and Performance RORs - Experience with one or more of the following vendor systems highly desirable– FactSet MAC, Wilshire IQ, and Barra Portfolio Manager - Experience with Investment/Fund Accounting systems a big plus *Duties and Responsibilities* - Help define use cases, and process, functional, and technical requirements for systems integration. - Participate in the design and implementation of application solutions - Develop high quality database/application code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines. - Facilitate all aspects of integration and testing- including creation and execution of use/test cases, bug tracking, review, prioritization, and resolution. - Participate/assist in production cutover, migration, and run-the-business application support. - Collaborate with other team members in issue diagnosis and resolution. *Education and Training* - Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (i.e. Computer science, Business) - Master’s degree, financial risk management/project management certification, an added plus seeking a Sr. Information Security Analyst for our premier client in Elmhurst, IL. This is a year+ long contract. *Job overview* The Sr. Analyst Information Security Risk is responsible for the ongoing assessment of software systems utilized in the business environment. The assessment process emphasizes compliance with internal and external information security requirements, e.g. FFIEC, GLBA, PCI, SOX. *Responsibilities* The Sr. Analyst is expected to: - provide analysis based upon relevant information security threats and knowledge of widely accepted standards of practice, e.g. ISO 27002, NIST 800-53, OWASP, OSA.
