We have an urgent opening for *Java Developer *have sent you a job description ,Please go through it and let me know if you are comfortable with it and also send me your consultant’s updated resume ASAP. *Title: Java Developer* *Location: Denver, CO or Monterey, CA* *Duration: 6 Months Contract* *Start : ASAP* here are some duties of this contract role: • Design, develop, and debug Java-based software solutions, with a focus on Java, NoSQL database technologies, and server performance. • Lead the design and development of software solutions involving the efforts of multiple software engineers. Provide technical expertise and guidance to less experienced staff to meet software development goals. • Confer with management and peers to resolve questions of program intent, software requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. • Correct program errors using methods such as automated unit testing, modifying programs or altering sequences of program steps. • Analyze, review, and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt to new program requirements. • Compile and write documentation of software development and subsequent revisions such that other software engineers can understand prior work. • Compile and write documentation to guide operating personnel and end users in proper software operation. • Effectively communicate and resolve issues with cross functional groups to escalate issues or changes in scope. • Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, customers and management. • Mentor more junior software engineers in areas of expertise. • Minimal travel is required. General Characteristics • Ability to contribute to technical project development of an online web-based application. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task to enhance productivity and manage workload of both self and other software engineers. • Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment and customer environment in support of project/program and adhere to deadlines; • Demonstrate willingness to help other team members when appropriate. • Work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
