*Title : QA Automation Engineer II (Mobile)* Location : Bloomington, MN *Duration : 6+ months (Long term) * Start: As soon as possible 1st found: Written Test, followed by Skype/Phone Need to provide references with Resume Ideal Candidate would have Mobility and/or Retail background. Written Test will need to be performed once the manager shows interested in the candidate. Depending on the written test, interview will be scheduled. Project Details:We are looking for a technical, highly-motivated, extremely organized hands-on Quality Assurance Automation with automated scripting background. This is a key team player in the successful development and integration of a multi-channel application for a top national retailer. This resource should be very technical, creative, resourceful and experienced in the Agile SDLC, and have been part of programs/projects with multiple system integrations both internally in the company, as well as externally with multiple vendors. Position Overview: · Reports to Platform QA Manager · Collaboratively coordinates testing of program solution with business requirements & designs. · Hands On: Responsible for automating functional as well as regression suite using UFT, with keyword driven and data driven framework. · Coaching QA team of new process and automation testing · Works collaboratively with integrated enterprise systems to complete end-to-end automated testing using UFT. · Develop, Maintain, and Execute automated test scenarios. · Creates and maintains test plans, cases/scripts, traceability matrix and various testing checklists. · Proactively work on automation roadmap and drive towards continual improvement of the automated regression testing suite. · Proactively identify ways to improve quality of the automated testing. · Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Project Managers, and Developers · Collaborate with other Mobile platform QA leads and develop automated testing strategies to create consistent, repeatable and thorough automated testing framework through Mobile. · Continuously improve QA practices to improve team’s productivity and product quality, including agile practices. Technologies: · 5+ Testing in SOA (Rest/Soap) · 5+ years Automated Testing using QTP /UFT: experience in automating webservices using QTP/UFT · Driving implementation and maintenance of automation and manual testing– 5 years · Backend/ db testing · 2+ Middleware experience · Good understanding of reading and modifying XMLs. Skill Overview: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field- preferred · 5+ years’ experience in automated scripting using QTP /UFT. · 5+ years in Quality Assurance and working within software industry in an Agile/Waterfall development environment, building web based systems. · Experience with cross-functional and remote teams for delivering quality products on a tight schedule. · Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical co-workers and customers · The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of managing their own workload as well as the workload of others on the team. · Must be comfortable in an agile, fast-paced, evolving environment Soft Skills: · Candidate must have a strong personality, be able to take initiative, ask questions and make constant improvements and suggestions · Must be able to voice opinion and take charge when needed · Efficient · Produces high-quality work · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Extremely organized and detail oriented, and can setup projects in a logical organizational manner and define just enough process for the teams to be successful. · Comfortable with ambiguity and logically solves problems, but escalates as needed · Drives teams to completion and consistently hits deadlines · Strong presentation and customer service skills · Must be willing to work under strict timelines and pressure. · Be willing to participate in offshore calls.
