*Responsibilities: *
SQL DBA will work as part of a team to:
•Support for DB Planning, Patching, Migration, Setup, Upgrades and
implementation.
•Automate regular activities, Checks and Monitoring
•Troubleshoot and provide detailed level technical expertise and support in
optimizing and tuning of Systems
•Organize / Structure day to day documentation
•Use High availability technology
•Provide continuous systems monitoring and problem solving.
•Develop concepts and tools to solve and prevent problems and to increase
efficiency
•Provide 24x7 support when required
*Qualifications: *
•6+ years of working experience on MSSQL Server.(2008)
•Proactive Monitoring of systems using tools or custom scripts, Providing
short term and long term solutions to issue.
•Experience in managing Database servers.
•Good amount of experience in Cloud Environment is desirable
•Expert knowledge in performance, scalability, Enterprise system
architecture and best practices
•Experience with multi-terabyte databases.
•Practical and theoretical knowledge of DB concepts: Security, Backup and
recovery strategies, Always On, performance tuning, Monitoring, Virtual
Environment,
high availability and disaster recovery strategy, export-import,
replication and Knowledge of latest database technologies are must.
•Strong TSQL Knowledge.
•Should have Knowledge of Oracle, PowerShell and other scripting.
•Experience in both single and multi-tenant environments.
