*Job Description: *
- Android Developer with minimum of two years' experience developing
native Android applications.
- Implement new features as defined by requirements.
- Work as an active team member by engaging in decision making,
providing input and helping to improve the overall application.
- May prototype, refine, test and debug programs as well as provide
technical documentation regarding implementation.
*Additional Responsibilities:*
- Collaborate daily with the development team (developers, designers,
testers, project leads)
- Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives,
initiatives and performance
- Adhere to and support development standards in place within the
development team
*Basic Qualifications:*
- BS Degree in CS, EE or related field
- Knowledge of software development tools (Eclipse, Android Studio,
etc.), processes & technologies.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with full Software Development Life Cycle
(requirements through implementation)
- Experience developing Android applications
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Detailed-oriented
- Ability to take individual initiative and accountability for
assignments
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience with Android NDK
- Experience with Android serial communications Experience with Data
Models and SQL.
- Experience with Web Services
- Experience with User Interface Design principles.
- Experience with Android app certification processes.
- Experience with data security and privacy.
- Medical Device Software Development Experience Familiarity with
applicable standards (IEC 62304, IEC 62366, etc) Strong conceptual,
analytical, and logic skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse teams both technical and
non-technical in nature
