Location: Midwest (each of the 4 consultants will be based at a specific location in the Midwest (Ohio/Indiana/Illinois/etc…) b. Rate: Open c. Duration: 6 months d. Responsibilities: *Layer 3 Switch engineers familiar with the following equipment*: · N9K-C9372TX-B18Q (Stand alone, non-ACI) · WS-C3850-48P-L · WS-C3850-48P-E · WS-C4500X-32SFP+ · WS-C4500X-16SFP+ · C6880-X-LE · C6807-XL Each Engineer will need to be assigned to one of each six regions and will be responsible for reverse engineering an EOL existing switch configuration (various Cisco and non cisco switches), *separating out the unique variables such as host names, vlans, ip address, switch names, community strings, port assignments, and AAA settings and migrating the legacy configuration to a new configuration on the above hardware using a standard template*. Test the configuration against lab equipment (prove that the configs takes without errors aka CLI accuracy), recommend template configuration changes if required, ship configuration to a staging Warehouse for addition to hardware. Be available during deployment to assist in correcting deficiencies if needed. Work with the site survey teams to confirm rack space, power, and cabling issues have been remediated before shipping code.
