*Location: Santa Ana, CA* *Contract length: 1 year* *Client: cannot be disclosed yet* *MUST BE ABLE TO INTERVIEW FACE TO FACE FOR FINAL INTERVIEW* *Job Description:* *Skills and Abilities* • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines • Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong Interpersonal skills, including the ability to create effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients • Strong meeting facilitation and negotiation skills • Strong business judgment and strong working knowledge of the mortgage industry • Ability to direct the work of others • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to navigate and utilize related software for project delivery *Qualifications* • 5+ years in managing information technology projects, or equivalent, required • 5+ years of previous experience working with technical applications and/or information systems • Extensive knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods, required • In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools required • General supervisory experience preferred • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred but not required • Mortgage Lending Industry experience is required. Preferably recent.
