*Business Analyst* *Location: Boston, MA, Near by * *Interview mode: I’m assuming there will be an in-person interview so ONLY local candidates please.* *Must haves: BA, PeopleSoft Financials, Agile* The Client is reviewing current technology and business process as part of an overall effort to upgrade and enhance all aspects of its Financials/Supply Chain systems. The goal of this project is to design the next generation business processes while leveraging technology and best business practices. The scope of this role includes responsibility for collecting business requirements and system specifications from internal and external customers, process mapping, writing RFP specifications, gap analysis, and driving project schedules from design to release. *This role will include planning for and managing the PeopleSoft Financials v8.9 upgrade.* SOW will also include coordination of design/implementation efforts between internal teams and vendors to develop optimal solutions. The selected candidate will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market (agile based), clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal, cross-functional, and remote project teams. To be successful in this role the right candidate will possess a strong business analysis background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current ERP technologies. You must be able to adapt, thrive, and navigate to succeed in this Client environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. As a Sr. BA you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected.
