They last submissions were too senior, candidates need to have hands on BO installation and configuration experience* *The Business Objects (BO) /SAS Administrator's primary focus is supporting users and operational stability for large scale deployments of the BO Platform environments.* *Requirements: - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models and database design concepts - Experience working with Oracle and SQL server database applications and environments required; Netezza experience is a plus Business Objects: - 3-5 years of experience working with business objects software support and administration required - Installation and configuration of business objects releases, patches and upgrades in virtual server environments - Strong understanding of BO security and content management - Creation and maintenance of BO security groups and content - Strong understanding across security and presentation layers is required - Strong understanding of authentication including Active Directory is required - Troubleshooting/tuning CMS and server tuning parameters for BOXI 3.1 & BO BI 4.2 environments - Installation, configuration and use of BOXI administration tools such as Auditor and third party monitoring tools - Ability to use Query Builder effectively to answer environment usage questions - 2+ years of BI report development experience preferred - Develop and maintain universes in BOXI 3.1/ BO BI 4.2 - Experience with designer, desktop intelligence, web intelligence, analytics, Xcelsius and dashboard development tools - Development using SDK code to extract metadata - Development of crystal reports in data warehouse desired - Ability to design a monitoring/alert solution for BO services - Acting on systems alerts related to capacity and unavailability. - Maintaining BO platform availability by ensuring different services are functional and stopping, starting and verifying them as needed. - Working with SAP technical support on issues as needed. - Provide system and usage metrics as needed* Samarth *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *201 620 9700x125* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vendors" group.
