* The client's Enterprise Applications IT area is preparing for a
reimplementation of PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2 with a go-live on
September 1, 2017 and is posting this position for a functional PeopleSoft
systems analyst to define conversion and interface requirements.
Currently, they have Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing and Asset
Management from PeopleSoft Financials version 8.8 implemented and are
upgrading to PeopleSoft 9.2 and will expand the module scope to include the
Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contract Management modules. In addition to
the upgrade to 9.2, the client is consolidating the current five (5)
Departments into three (3). The PeopleSoft analyst will be responsible
for assisting with functional requirements, design, and testing of
conversions, interfaces, and AWE workflow. There will be a coordinated
effort with the contract data elements for conversion and interfaces with a
separate project to implement a new Contract Management system that is
non-PeopleSoft. *
*Duties for this position will include:*
- *Responsible for developing the conversion, data mapping and
functional design and ensuring a clean hand off to the Technical Team to
ensure that they are clearly understood prior to Tech Design and Build;*
- *Responsible for developing the interface requirements, data mapping,
and functional design and ensuring a clean hand off to the Technical Team
to ensure that they are clearly understood prior to Tech Design and Build;*
- *Responsible for developing the AWE Workflow requirements and
functional design and build-out/configuration;*
- *Works with the technical team to test and validate data conversions
and interfaces;*
- *Works with functional team to test AWE workflow;*
- *Possess PeopleSoft Version 9.2 expertise in one of the following
modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Purchasing,
Supplier Contract Management, and Strategic Sourcing;*
- *Responsible for identification, documentation, and reporting of
identified project risks to project management;*
- *Responsible for consistent utilization of standardized processes and
forms to manage project documentation, including but not limited to,
Functional Design Documents, Data Mapping, Key Design Decisions, Change
Controls, Risk Registers, Scope Documentation and other project documents
as needed;*
- *Responsible for determining configuration migration approach from one
PeopleSoft environment to another to support the development life cycle; *
- *Works with SME/Business Owners and Project Team to provide input to
project management, functional lead and others in the development of the
detailed Project Schedule;*
- *Works with the Enterprise Support Center teams to mitigate risks and
resolve issues throughout implementation as needed;*
- *Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping
project stakeholders informed;*
- *Performs and documents module system and integration testing as it
relates to the conversion and interface data.*
*Responsible for ensuring project cohesiveness with separate Contract
Management (non-PeopleSoft) system implementation project.*
*The worker should have a history of strong PeopleSoft Systems Analysts
skills and how to approach and work through conversion and interface design
from a functional viewpoint. The System Analyst must be
available as required to assure successful completion of the project.
