*Duration: 3 month+* *Location: Orange County, CA* *I also have a new iOS 3 month plus contract (strong possibility of extension) need in Irvine, CA. The client will need to meet candidate for the final interview so preferably local candidates only. One call, one in person, done deal. . The goal is to find someone with 4+ years iOS experience; Objective-C, strong API exp. preferably 2+ aps in store. Between this one and angular req. this one needs more attention and will move quicker.* *Job Responsibilities* *• Design and create fast, high impact mobile client applications for engaging interactive solutions across multiple target platforms* *• The engineer will be a key member of the global development team that will deliver end-to-end solutions on time and in accordance with the defined architectural vision and performance expectations.* *• Must have extensive hands-on experience in the design and development of mobile applications for iOS.* *• Analyze complex issues and modify working methods in own discipline. Strong analytical skills are essential.* *• No direct reports. Will provide guidance to more junior members of the team.* *• Under limited supervision; ability to exercise independent judgment; must compare alternate courses of action and make a decision after considering the options. Must be self-motivated and a "self-starter"* *• The engineer is responsible to deliver high quality applications that meet the needs of different Tyco vertical solutions. Must proactively identify and react to changing technical and business requirements.* *Qualifications* *Education and Experience* *Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) from an accredited college or university (four years relevant work experience may be substituted for education). 3-6 years developing large-scale, enterprise-wide, commercial mobile software.* *Required Job Skills* *• 6-9 years experience developing highly scalable data-driven applications based on structured and unstructured data sets.* *• 6-9 years experience with object oriented programming languages (Objective-C, Java) with in-depth knowledge of the language.
