*Location-* *Marlborough, MA* *USC/GC/GC-EAD,TN Only* *No h1b,No OPT* *Responsibilities:* Provide direct level 2 BI support to the Client’s business community. In this role, you will respond to inquiries from BI consumers and self-service BI users regarding: issues, data discrepancies, design changes, new content requests, data requests, business rules, logical data models and more. Other tasks include: root cause analysis, issue resolution and mitigation, post implementation support, prioritization, continuous process improvement and knowledge transfer. - Generally works on issues of a moderately complex to highly complex nature in a matrixed IT environment. - Ability to craft concise communications of a technical nature to a business community - Collaborate and escalate to level 3 technical teams as needed - Must possess excellent follow up skills and self-motivation to resolve issues in a timely, cost effective manner based on SLAs and OLAs. - Coachself-service BI users on the optimal use of Cognos 10.1 studios involving large complex DMR data packages and cubes. - Identify opportunities for proactive support, best practices and training. - Coordinates software and system upgrades withinfrastructure and development teams. - Update support documentation as necessary adhering to Sarbanes Oxley process and procedure requirements. · Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the review of system and business requirements for new projects. · Provide guidance to junior analysts. - Identify issues and formulate recommendations for efficient, timely problem resolution - Determine appropriate channels, medium and timing for communicating issues and resolutions - Other duties as required. - May be required to work during “off hours.” *Requirements: * To be successful in this role, candidates must be proficient in analyzing business requirements, complex dataviews and models as well aspossess the skills and acumen to be a confident, consultative subject matter expert in business intelligence tools and concepts. · Ability to communicate effectively with business professionals, executives and developers · Familiar with Solution Delivery Process (SDP) and SDLC · Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Strong time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues with limited supervision - Understanding of client-server, browser-based and/or mainframe applications - Ability to create Cognos 10.1 reports using Report Studio, Analysis Studio, and Query Studio - Working knowledge of Cognos Connection (scheduling/bursting, report views, portals) - Understanding of Cognosdata security architectures - Understanding of the logical components involved in EDW architecture - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts - Familiar with terms such as ETL, Data Mart, Cubes, Change Data Capture, MDM, ODS, ADL - Familiar with the ITIL model and associated processes - Knowledge of SPI, PCI, PII, and SOX requirements - Experience with Qlikview is a plus - Expertise in BI content design and navigation is a plus - Understanding of TJX functional divisions and their interaction a plus - Understanding of retail merchandising or supply chain systems a plus - 5 years related work experience - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience -- Best Regards, Samarth Mishra [email protected] 201 620 9700x125 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Vendors" group.
